Summer Advanced Endodontics Clinic (2)

Course Description: This training course will be presented in the clinical practice of endodontic treatment in a specialized postgraduate clinic. Students will gain comprehensive clinical experience in all aspects of endodontic treatment. Procedures will be carried out using surgical microscopy and the latest instrumentation, materials, and devices used in endodontics. The course will focus on diagnosis, including chief complaint, examination, etiology determination, and case study, as well as endodontic treatment planning and multidisciplinary treatment planning, clinical photographic documentation, follow-up, and post-treatment outcome documentation.

Objectives of the course :

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to manage endodontic treatment for different groups of teeth with varying degrees of difficulty from simple to moderate, and manage endodontic emergencies.

Course outputs :

Begin by developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to facilitate the development of an accurate assessment of various endodontic treatment problems and complications.
Medical, clinical, and radiological assessment of cases to establish an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan according to patient needs and preferences, and to evaluate treatment outcomes through follow-up strategies.
Practicing research methods and improving skills to access scientific resources for analyzing and evaluating scientific literature and finding the best available evidence, along with practicing clinical judgment skills for patient management.
Performing various root canal treatments using diverse techniques and effectively and safely correcting procedural errors in patients while adhering to infection control measures.
Enhance patient and companion communication skills, and strengthen scientific communication with dental staff and healthcare professionals to achieve effective outcomes.
Promoting professional and academic integrity in accordance with current regulatory policies and adherence to legal, professional, and ethical standards
Developing responsibility and autonomy in decision-making, participating in various professional development opportunities, and gaining experience in the academic field and the field of endodontics.
