Advanced Pediatric Dentistry Clinic (2)

Course Description: Pediatric Dentistry Clinical Practice in Pediatric Dentistry Postgraduate Clinics. Students will gain clinical experience in pediatric dentistry. Treatment will be carried out using nitrous oxide sedation and all pediatric dentistry devices and instruments. Students will delve into comprehensive dental treatment experiences. Emphasis will be placed on diagnosis, including: chief complaint, examination, pathogenesis, comprehensive and detailed treatment plans, as well as clinical photographic documentation, follow-up, and post-treatment outcome documentation.

Objectives of the course :

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Analysis and interpretation of information obtained from subjective and objective findings and imaging to form a final diagnosis
2. Performance and implementation of a comprehensive treatment plan based on patient data and appropriate diagnostic tools.
3. Implementing preventive and therapeutic procedures for complex cases, including healthy children, congenital dental defects, and dental emergencies.
4. Managing complex cases requiring comprehensive dental treatment.
5. Developing clinical problem-solving skills to formulate treatment plans and manage complex cases that require a multidisciplinary therapeutic approach.
6. Documenting clinical data in the patient's file using dental practice management software
