Course Description: The course covers: Epistemology and scientific research, the structure of educational research in the humanities, components of educational scientific research design, foundations of research designs in curriculum and teaching methods, basic, applied and evaluative research, action research in terms of concept, characteristics, fields, and steps, comparison between different research designs in the field of curricula, recent developments in research design such as meta-analysis, case studies, and future studies, and the design of a mixed action research.
