By the end of this course, students should be able to: describe and identify root canal anatomy, endodontic instruments, and root canal treatment procedures using different techniques, and perform various root canal treatments including managing procedural errors and analyzing the quality of root canal treatment performed.
Description of root canal anatomy and its variations, access cavity preparations, and identification of endodontic instruments.
Describe the procedures for root canal treatment using different techniques.
Interpretation of complex root canal systems, identification of procedural errors that occur during root canal treatment and description of the techniques necessary for their management, and analysis of the quality of root canal treatment performed.
Perform different root canal treatments using various techniques and correct procedural errors in a simulated environment.
Working according to principles of professionalism and behavioral science related to dental practice, including teamwork and effective leadership skills, as well as enhanced and efficient communication skills.
