Designing and constructing educational research

Course Description: This course introduces quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research approaches, the theories underpinning educational administration research, good research designs, and adherence to scientific research ethics. .

Credit hours: 3

Objectives of the course :

– Understanding the concept and components of educational research design in the field of educational administration. .
– Identify the characteristics of good research designs.
Understanding the epistemology underlying different educational research designs.
– Understanding the theoretical perceptions underlying educational research in epistemology.
– Identify the different types of educational research designs.
– Standing on some quantitative, qualitative, and mixed designs for educational research and their applications in the field of educational administration.
Increased ability to prepare and build research tools suitable for different research designs.
The ability to select appropriate research designs and apply them to postgraduate student studies.
Consideration of the various aspects of educational research ethics when selecting research designs.
