Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning and Case Presentation (2)

Course Description: This is a graduate, case-based course that meets weekly. Students will be required to present a case from their internship and discuss and justify their treatment choice based on the latest scientific evidence. Faculty will pose questions to stimulate group discussions among students.

Objectives of the course :

Developing critical thinking skills that contribute to clinical decision-making.

 

– Application of evidence-based knowledge in clinical practice for endodontic treatment.

Enhance root canal treatment planning in coordination with multidisciplinary planning.

Encourage the selection of clinical actions based on the latest scientific evidence.

Course outputs :

Review contemporary aspects of various dental treatment modalities, and explain the relationship between core concepts and the clinical approach to treatment across different specialties.
Justify treatment planning and management based on evidence-based literature.
Linking core concepts with the clinical approach to therapy and formulating integrated and comprehensive treatment plans
Utilize digital documentation and advanced imaging techniques to effectively present and analyze multidisciplinary cases.
Practicing independent clinical decision-making in the management of multidisciplinary cases with effective collaboration with other specialists
