Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Understand the anatomy of the head and neck, including bones, muscles, blood vessels, and nerves.
2. Explanation of growth and development processes, including the head, face, and oral cavity.
3. Identification of chromosomes, chromosome mapping, genes, chromosomal abnormalities, and mutations
4. Understanding the components and structures of oral tissues
5. Retrieve microbiological fundamentals of diseases affecting the oral and maxillofacial region, including bacterial, viral, and fungal infections.
6. Identification of basic immunity and immune mechanisms of diseases affecting the oral cavity
7. Description of the concept of disease and the mechanisms of disease causation.
8. Description of the clinical and pathological radiological features of diseases affecting the oral and maxillofacial region
9. Demonstrating the ability to utilize pathosis diagnostic methods and oral radiology in conducting an accurate diagnosis of common oral and maxillofacial diseases in dental practice.
