Course Description: Introduction to Aerodynamics, Static and Dynamic Stability, Aircraft Equations of Motion, Response to Control Inputs, Flight Characteristics, Applications of Classical and Modern Control Theories in Autopilot Design.

Objectives of the course :

• Derivation and formulation of flight motion equations: longitudinal and lateral.
• Define the response of aircraft to controls or inputs.
Design, integrate, and troubleshoot flight dynamics and control problems using classical and modern automatic control theory.
Applying numerical techniques to solve flight dynamics and control problems using MATLAB.
