Research Seminar on English Language Teaching Methods and Curriculum

Course Description: The course provides a general introduction and an overview of the research seminar, research methodology in social sciences, and discusses selected readings on curricula in general and English language curricula in particular. It includes educational research methods, curriculum inquiry paradigms, the post-modern perspective on curricula, and research methods in English language curricula. It also includes reading selected abstracts from electronic sources, designing a proposal for a future research project, and concluding the seminar with a general discussion.
