Course Description: Introduction to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), methodologies and components of CAD and CAM systems, product lifecycle through Computer-Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) systems, introduction to Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, CNC machine programming, manufacturing resource planning through information systems, Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP), Computer-Aided Quality Control (CAQC), Computer-Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) systems.

• Develop an understanding of advanced aspects of computer-aided technologies used in product design, manufacturing, and rapid prototyping.
