Course Description: This course aims to introduce dentists to fundamental issues in dental practice, such as the patient-dentist relationship, confidentiality, the concept of patient autonomy, and the importance of consent in the workplace. The course discusses national and international principles of medical ethics and their significance in healthcare settings. It highlights the physician's duties as a professional member of the healthcare team and maintaining the relationship for optimal healthcare for the community as a whole. This course aims to enhance understanding of current research ethics protocols in clinical research and their application within the context of Saudi research systems. The course will also focus on promoting the physician's fulfillment of legal and ethical requirements governing the societies in which they work as professional members of the healthcare team.
