Course Description: Introduction to industrial experiments, basic statistical measures and their applications in engineering, statistical analysis of data, single-factor and multi-factor experiments, regression analysis, and the use of commercial software in applying the previous topics in experimental design and statistical methods, in addition to a semester project or mini-projects.
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

Provide the Master's student with practical applied experience in experimental design as practiced in the industrial sector.

2- Enable the student to learn how to apply statistical methods and concepts with the aim of maximizing the quantity and quality of information resulting from experiments.

3. Providing the student with the opportunity to become familiar with commercial statistical software used in the industry.

Knowledge and understanding:
1.1 Understanding the principles of industrial experiments, including: main effects, interaction diagrams, and interaction plots.
1.2 Identifying statistical measures and their elements, including: hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, and confidence intervals.
1.3 Identifying recent developments in statistical metrics and their applications in various engineering fields.
1.4 Outline of modern research in experimental design.

2.1 Application of theories and principles specific to statistical methods, such as variance and standard deviation, in experimental design.
