Course Description: A brief description of survival distributions - life and failure functions - and their relationships - statistical inference problems for survival data - estimation and comparison of survival curves (Kaplan-Meier estimator, life tables - ...) - estimation with complete or censored data (Type I - Type II - progressive censoring - ...) - hypothesis testing - parametric regression models - Cox proportional hazards models.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to increase students' knowledge of certain statistical concepts, methods, and models, and how to use them in survival analysis.

Course outputs :

Acquiring knowledge on how to use appropriate statistical models and methods in survival data analysis – deepening scientific capacity in the field of statistics to overcome statistical inference problems for survival data – enhancing the ability to pursue advanced studies in this field when needed.
