Objectives of the course :

This course aims to deepen knowledge of concepts in forecasting and time series, as well as correlation function forms, and to train students in using computers in this field.

Course outputs :

Acquire knowledge by learning some fundamental concepts related to forecasting methods using time series models, available packages, and dedicated software. Enhance the ability to use time series for forecasting and extrapolating future problems (economic, social, scientific, disasters, etc.). Gain cognitive skills through thinking based on the concept of forecasting and solving real-life problems. Increase the ability to pursue advanced studies in the field of forecasting in general, as needed. Acquire the skill of using computers and the method of simulating phenomena and forecasting them.
