Pharmacy system

Course Description: This course covers the materials of the Pharmacy Law, which regulates the practice of the pharmacy profession and the trade of medicines and pharmaceutical products, issued by the Council of Ministers under letter No. 335 dated 4/11/1426 AH, and its various explanations. The course duration is one hour, and it is presented in the form of a lecture covering the following topics: The practice of the pharmacy profession, including the registration of pharmacists and their assistants, pharmacies, wholesale drug distribution warehouses, pharmaceutical companies and industries, drug registration, registration of pharmaceutical companies and their scientific offices, transitional provisional rules, penalties, and regulations for poisons, narcotics, and controlled psychotropic drugs.

Prerequisites: 112 PHP
Objectives of the course :

1. Study of Saudi laws and regulations governing the pharmacy profession and pharmaceutical preparations.
2. Description of the rights and responsibilities of healthcare workers in the Saudi sector.
3. Identifying the requirements and procedures for registering pharmacists, and the requirements for registering new drugs and companies.
