This course aims to enable students to:
Identifying the different relationships (harmful and beneficial) between insects and other living beings, through group discussions, scientific readings, and lectures.
Describing the external and internal structures of various insect species and understanding the structural adaptations that enable them to adapt to their different environments through practical application and research in the field of arthropods.
Developing the technical skills necessary for laboratory work through practical training.
Distinguishing between insects and other animals based on morphological and physiological characteristics, through practical applications and problem-solving.
Explaining the importance of insects in human life and their relationship with other organisms using case study and classroom discussion methods.
Developing scientific research skills and choosing appropriate electronic information sources.
Develop oral and written communication skills, enhance the ability to use electronic resources, and actively participate in scientific discussions.
Enhance teamwork and leadership skills through classroom activities, direct assessment, and observation.
First: Knowledge & Understanding:
By the end of the course, the student will be able to:
Identifying the different relationships between insects and other living organisms (beneficial and harmful).
Description of the external and internal structure of insects and explanation of adaptations that help them survive in their diverse environments.
