Course Description: This is an introductory course on the fundamental principles of immunology, focusing on the cellular and molecular processes involved in innate (non-specific) and adaptive (specific) immunity. The course expands on key immunological elements, immune responses, immune cell development, interactions between humoral and cellular immunity, and diseases resulting from immune responses.

Provide a knowledge-based curriculum for understanding the immune system.

 

2. Determining the role of the immune system in infection and inflammation.
3. Linking acquired knowledge and applying it to understand specific immune cells.

4. Understanding the role of the immune system in hypersensitivity.

5. Clarifying the immune system's role in autoimmune diseases

Course outputs :

Record the difference between innate immunity and acquired immunity, and memorize the mechanisms of action of each.

 

Identify the basic structural and functional components of the immune system, and identify the different categories of antigens, including Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) cells.

Learn about the role of immunoglobulins, the complement system, and cytokines in transplant immunology and immunosuppressive therapy.
