Description:
The Doctor of Philosophy in Apparel Design and Production program was established in accordance with the decision of the University Council to approve the program (Doctor of Philosophy in Apparel Design and Production) and approve the study plan at the fifth session held on 30/4/1437 H. The program is characterized by the inclusion of its courses in all disciplines that serve apparel design and production, and focus on developing the creative skills of female graduates in the field of apparel design and production. The program has taken upon itself the task of focusing on the latest modern intellectual trends when building its courses so that students are fully aware of the new in the fields of specialization to face the challenges of global competition. The program focuses in its courses on making students the focus of the research process by conducting scientific discussion seminars "Seminar". The program helps to encourage scientific research in the field of design and apparel production, qualify national academic cadres in the field of design and apparel production, fill the deficit in this specialization for national cadres, whether in the field of teaching or in civil society institutions, support the requirements of development and the needs of the labor market, and the lack of a similar program in Saudi universities.
