The Chair contributes to supporting AI research and innovation by encouraging and enriching the field of scientific research and adopting initiatives that contribute to providing lasting solutions for society, the economy and the environment. The chair aims to disseminate knowledge and highlight the role of AI and its applications in various fields, as well as create a vibrant community with sufficient knowledge of AI that can contribute to providing solutions and innovations for a prosperous economy for the region.

Terms and conditions of the scholarship
- The research must be published in WoS journals in one of the two editions (SCIE, SSCI) for all disciplines in (Q1, Q2, or Q3).
- To close the scholarship, the researcher must achieve at least 60 points according to the following table:

- The research should not be derived from a master's or doctoral thesis or previously completed in whole or in part.
- The total financial rewards for the research grant are a maximum of thirty thousand riyals (30,000 riyals), distributed according to the items below:

- The budget approved for this contract includes only researcher honorariums.
- In order for the award to be disbursed, the scientific paper must not be one of the outputs of research grants that received financial support from any entity, and excludes scientific papers that received support for publication fees only.
- The duration of the grant is one year from the date of signing the contract between the PI and the chair.
