Grant goals
As part of the objectives of the Sheikh Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Oweidah Chair for Intellectual Awareness and National Belonging to support the promotion of research production in the field of intellectual awareness and national belonging in line with national priorities, and aims to raise the quality of life in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by enhancing participation in national programs and their targets. In cooperation with the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, the chair announces the launch of a number of research grants with a total support of (102,000 Saudi Riyals).

Terms and conditions of the scholarship
- The principal investigator must be a faculty member at the university, and his/her academic degree must not be lower than assistant professor.
- The research proposal must not have been previously submitted for support to any other entity, and will not be submitted for support to any other entity after approval.
- It should not be a research derived from a master's or doctoral thesis or student projects.
- The documented citation ratio (by text or meaning) in the research should not exceed (25%), whether from the researcher's research or from the research of others, and any research that exceeds this ratio will be rejected, according to the data of the results of the citation measurement program (I Thenticate), and excludes from the calculation of the above citation ratio Qur'anic verses, hadiths, and poetic witnesses.
- The applicant researcher should not have a stalled research according to the stalled conditions determined by the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at the university.
- The financial reward for the research grant is (17,000) seventeen thousand riyals, provided that the researcher's reward will be paid after publishing the scientific paper and submitting the final report of the technical and financial conformity of the research.
- Indicate the support of the Sheikh Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Oweidah Chair for Intellectual Awareness and National Belonging and the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at the university when publishing the research according to the approved wording, which is as follows:
- The duration of the grant is one year from the date of signing the contract between the PI and the chair.
