- Developing, digitizing, growing, and enabling data strategies to enhance national assets and capabilities.
- Developing systems, policies, standards and controls for data management and personal data protection at the university level.
- Supporting internal entities in implementing data management and personal data protection systems, standards and policies.
- Build performance measurement indicators for internal organizations' compliance with data management and personal data protection regulations, standards, and policies.
- Monitor adherence and compliance with data management and personal data protection regulations, standards and policies.
- Strengthening national capacities and skills specialized in data management and personal data protection.
Tasks and Specializations of the Office
- Developing data management strategies, personal data protection, and data policies and standards at the university level.
- Support internal organizations in implementing data policies and standards.
- Identify and address requirements and challenges related to data management and personal data protection, and report them to the National Data Management Office and the Data Management Office at the Ministry of Education.
- Developing the university's national capacity and maturity level in the field of data management and personal data protection, with the support of the National Data Management Office (NDMO).
- Implementation of private and common standards and policies approved by the National Data Management Office.
- Implement the university's data directory based on the policies approved by the National Data Management Office.
- Monitor compliance with approved policies and standards, and prepare and submit reports to the National Data Management Office.
- Build and manage BI systems and support decision makers with necessary reports.
