Umm Al-Qura University continues its presence in the "Innovation" phase of the Digital Transformation Index

Qassim University continued its presence in the "Innovation" phase of the Digital Transformation Index for the fourth consecutive year, achieving the 15th place among government entities from different sectors, and the second place in the education and training sector out of 31 entities.

The 'Innovation' stage is the highest stage of evaluation in the Digital Transformation Index and is awarded to entities that achieve a score of 90% or higher according to the Digital Government Authority's criteria, as it reflects the highest levels of digital maturity and technical integration in government services.
The organization categorizes the results of the evaluation of organizations into five stages, starting with building, accessibility, optimization, integration, and innovation. Qassim University maintained its position in this stage after achieving a score of 92.73% in the 2025 assessment results.

The university was honored during the Digital Government Forum in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies the ministers, where His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, received the honor in recognition of the university's excellence and its alignment with the strategic directions of the digital government, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President for Business Development and Community Partnership, Dr. Majid bin Fadhi Al-Enezi, and the members of the university's measurement team.

It is noteworthy that the Digital Transformation Measurement Index is one of the four main indicators launched by the Digital Government Authority to measure the performance of government agencies and their excellence in applying national digital standards, and to follow up on the development of their digital transformation journey in order to contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
