The University concludes its participation in the Global Health Forum 2025

On Thursday, October 30, Qassim University concluded its participation in the Global Health Forum 2025, which lasted for four days at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, with the aim of introducing its developmental role in the health sector, highlighting its efforts in educating and qualifying health cadres, and showcasing its advanced services and facilities by reviewing the university's experience in managing an integrated health and academic system that combines education, community service and scientific research.

The UQU Medical City participated in an introductory exhibition during which it reviewed its efforts in developing health services and medical training, introducing the initiatives that contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in the health sector, in addition to reviewing the medical city's projects in the digital transformation of health services, simulation training programs, and research initiatives in all health fields, as well as the development of clinical and educational services in the city, which represents a national model combining academic education and professional practice, in addition to highlighting the outstanding medical operations and total services provided to more than 100,000 beneficiaries.

The forum witnessed the signing of four memorandums of cooperation between the university and a number of health authorities, within the framework of strengthening academic, research and training partnerships. The university signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority to enhance academic, research and training cooperation in the fields of emergency medical services, continuing education and human resources development, and a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Health branch in Qassim region to activate partnership in scientific research and applied initiatives related to extending healthy life and supporting quality of life indicators by collecting and analyzing health demographic data and identifying priorities for health interventions.

The agreements signed during the university's participation in the forum included a memorandum of understanding between the College of Applied Medical Sciences and the Ministry of Health to develop the specialty of optometry and support national efforts to improve the quality of optical care in the Kingdom, in addition to a memorandum of cooperation between the College of Nursing and the Saudi Society for Health Simulation to enhance cooperation in the fields of research and training and participate in the design and delivery of specialized scientific programs and events in multidisciplinary health simulation.
