Qassim University kept pace with the moments of excellence and happiness lived by the Saudis and Saudis to celebrate the graduation of the sixth batch of graduates of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program in America, as it shone in the sky of the capital of the United States of America "Washington" with its active participation in the Career Day Exhibition for Saudi graduates and graduates, which concluded last week under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Angari, and in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to America Mr. Adel Al-Jubeir and Cultural Attaché Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa amid the presence of a large number of educational institutions and major companies seeking to recruit them.

The university participated in a distinctive pavilion that included introducing its colleges spread in Buraydah and the governorates of the region, in addition to embodying the Qassimi hospitality represented by serving coffee, dates and kalija to the guests of the pavilion, where graduates are received and served coffee and dates to them while they register their data and hand over copies of their documents to the university team assigned to do so.

The Minister of Higher Education and the Saudi Ambassador praised the university's pavilion and its effective presence, where they met with the Vice President and head of the delegation, Prof. Dr. Abdulmunim bin Ibrahim Al-Abdulmunim, who gave them a summary of the university's experience with career days, noting that the university attracted 40 male and female graduates from the previous career day in America to work at the university in addition to its continuous keenness to attract distinguished Saudis and Saudi graduates of the scholarship program in all career days, indicating that this year they will expand their recruitment circle as he confirmed that the applicants are distinguished, including rare specialties needed by the university.

 

1500 graduates applied to work at the university

 

More than 1500 male and female graduates visited the university pavilion with a desire to work at the university, where 500 of them were interviewed to complete the conditions, the most important of which is the continuity of the graduate in the same specialization (bachelor - master - doctorate), and the percentage of female graduates is estimated at more than 60% of the total applicants to the university at the exhibition, of which approximately 10% are rare specialties (medicine - pharmacy - science).

According to the UQU Vice President, Prof. Abdulmunim Al-Abdulmunim, the university will work during the coming period to study the files of the male and female applicants through the concerned colleges and departments, and then communicate with the graduates to appoint them to the university, God willing, pointing out that he was pleased with the excellence of the fruits of this purposeful program that embodies the desire of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to support, develop and develop Saudi minds in the most prestigious international universities.
