His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, praised the achievements of Qassim University on the occasion of a decade since its establishment, pointing out that he accompanied this period, since its inception, development and continuation in this field, praising God for the university's excellence and leadership in the scientific and social field, which is what we all look forward to in serving society in all its matters, pointing out that the university was established to build human beings in all its directions and specializations.
In a press statement made after sponsoring the ceremony of the tenth batch of graduates of Qassim University, His Highness congratulated the male and female graduates, praying to God Almighty that they will be building blocks and arms of goodness for this blessed country, which takes pride in its children and provides them with all means to achieve good scientific achievement, expressing his happiness in his presence with his sons, and congratulating the wise leadership headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince and Second Deputy for this great gift.
HH the Amir of Qassim emphasized that these graduates will give of themselves with this graduation to serve the country, wishing them success and happiness, while congratulating the parents on this happy occasion, hoping that this happiness will be permanent for all and that all our days will be full of glory and prosperity for this dear country.
His Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz sponsored the graduation ceremony of the tenth batch of Qassim University, which numbered (6642) male and female graduates at the university's main headquarters in the university city, on Sunday afternoon, in the presence of His Highness the Vice-President, Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud.
The ceremony opened with the graduates marching to the tunes of the royal anthem, followed by a speech program in which the UQU President, Prof. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, said:
Here we are celebrating the tenth batch of graduates of Qassim University, ten years after its establishment. The number of graduates of this batch reached (2222) graduates at the bachelor's level, including the first batch of students of the College of Sciences and Arts in Aqla Al-Suqur in the departments of Arabic language, mathematics and physics, the first batch of students of the Department of Regulations in the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, the first batch of students of the Department of Learning Disabilities at the College of Education in Buraidah, the first batch of female students of the Psychology Department of the same college, the first batch of female students of the College of Nursing, as well as the graduates of the rehabilitation programs held by Buraidah Community College in Buraidah Prison.
We are also pleased with the graduation of (94) male and female graduates in the postgraduate stage, thanks be to God.
Next Wednesday, the university will celebrate the graduation of 4420 female graduates in a special ceremony, bringing the total number of graduates of the university for this year (6642) male and female graduates.
His Excellency addressed the graduates, saying :From this place, I congratulate you on this happy day, which is the conclusion of the beautiful years you spent in the university. Congratulations to the country as you take your first steps towards serving it and raising it. You are standing at the end of one threshold and the beginning of another, and you have challenges ahead of you, so be up to what your society and your country expects of you in terms of effort, sincerity, determination and ambition, I am sure that you will be one of the best who carried knowledge, inspired wisdom and knew the truth to stand against all those who want to harm you, your religion, your morals and your country, and you are worthy of this trust - with the permission of the Almighty.
As the University felicitates you today, it makes you feel that behind you is a society that expects you to give more and more, spreading knowledge and instilling the principles of good manners, as Luqman said: "O my son, learn what you don't know and teach what you know."
From this place, I find it an appropriate opportunity to send the most beautiful congratulations and best greetings to the families of our graduates, and I especially congratulate the parents on this achievement achieved by their children and the fruit they have obtained, so congratulations to you, may God make them the apple of your eye and guide their steps on the path of goodness.
On behalf of the graduates and the university staff, His Excellency expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Second Vice President, His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect them all for their efforts to promote the welfare and comfort of their sons and daughters, male and female students, may Allah protect them all for what they exert for the upliftment and comfort of their sons and daughters.

Emad Al-Washmi, a graduate of the College of Human Medicine, delivered the graduates' speech, stressing that their position at this juncture of history in their scientific career is a position of grace for which we should thank God first and then praise our rulers, university officials and their families for their standing and support for their scientific career and overcoming the difficulties they face: He pointed out that they have reaped what they sowed and that excellence starts from home, from which it starts and to which it returns, offering his congratulations to all his fellow graduates, praising His Highness for his permanent patronage of the graduation ceremony of the university students.
Mohammed bin Fareeh Al-Aqla, a graduate of postgraduate studies, stressed that he registers the university administration's adoption of multiple and varied postgraduate programs, saying: "The sons and daughters of the region have thrown away the stick of travel, which many people have been pulling before in search of higher degrees, and now it is within their reach." He stressed that the postgraduate programs in the region have become a beacon and have become the focus of the attention of students from inside and outside the Kingdom, so congratulations to the university and its management and happiness to its captain.
