The University announces the opening of applications for a number of academic positions

Al-Qassim University announced the opening of applications for a number of academic positions for scientific ranks (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor), for PhD holders from Saudi citizens through the job competition with a full-time contract system, in various disciplines, starting from Sunday 26/07/1446 AH corresponding to 26/01/2025 until Thursday 07/08/1446 AH corresponding to 06/02/2025 AD.

The university invited national competencies from PhD holders to apply for these jobs through the online portal for those who meet the general and special conditions of the announced jobs, and to view them through The following links:

Application requirements for academic positions:
1. Applicants must be of Saudi nationality.
2. The applicant must hold the scientific degrees specified for the specialization to be applied for from Saudi universities or universities recommended by the Ministry of Education, provided that proof of equivalency from the Ministry is attached to all qualifications obtained from outside the Kingdom.
3. The extension of specialization in bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees for which you are applying.
4. The applicant must have obtained his/her degree through full-time regular study and not through affiliation.
5. The applicant must pass the tests and scientific presentations from the competent committees and councils, and the controls approved by the University Council to differentiate between applicants.
6. The applicant's bachelor's grade must not be less than "very good" for all majors, and a "good" grade may be accepted for health majors according to justifications accepted by the concerned councils.
7. Applicants for the Assistant Professor position should not be more than 45 years old.

Required documents:
1. National ID photo.
2. Curriculum vitae in Arabic, including the title of the master's and doctoral theses and practical and scientific experiences, not exceeding two pages.
3. A copy of your bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree.
4. Copy of academic transcripts (bachelor's, master's, and doctoral).
5. Copy of equivalents for documents from outside the Kingdom.
6. For those who hold positions in government agencies, the approval of the employer is required after the final nomination.

General guidelines:
1. Applying for and being nominated for these positions does not constitute final employment.
2. Applicants who meet the above conditions should review the available positions and select the department and specialization that corresponds to the qualifications held by the applicant and his/her gender.
3. Apply for the position suitable for the applicant's qualifications by filling out all fields of the application form in the electronic portal for applying for academic jobs on the university's website, and uploading all required documents in PDF format.
4. Ensure that all data is complete and all required documents are attached; to avoid disqualification of the applicant's application.
5. Providing any incorrect or non-conforming information will result in the application being automatically canceled and the applicant's application being disqualified.
