His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Qassim Region, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the University Medical City and Qassim Health Cluster, to enhance aspects of cooperation in the field of medical services, in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, and the CEO of Qassim Health Cluster, Dr. Musa bin Mohammed Al-Harbi.
This memorandum, signed by Dr. Khalid bin Fahad Al-Husais, Executive Director of the University's Medical City, and the Qassim Health Cluster, CEO of the Cluster, aims to raise the level of partnership and joint coordination between the two sides, which includes providing a range of medical services in 6 areas: patient referral, manpower, intensive and critical care rooms, laboratories, radiology and medical imaging, medicines, by utilizing the capabilities and resources available to both parties to provide high-quality and efficient health services that meet the desired aspirations.
HH the Emir of Qassim emphasized the importance of signing this memorandum, which comes to confirm the continuation of fruitful mutual cooperation between government agencies in the region, activate medical cooperation to serve the patient in the Qassim region, and support the areas targeted by the agreement in order to achieve the public interest and quality outputs, in light of the continuous follow-up and keenness of His Highness on developing areas of mutual cooperation between various sectors and benefiting from the opportunities and expertise in the region.
The two entities appreciated the interest and support of His Highness the Emir of the region for the projects of developing health services in the region, raising the level of efficiency and performance within the health transformation program and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve life and build an ambitious and prosperous nation that enjoys well-being through a comprehensive and sustainable development process.
