Qassim University launched the admission portal for the next academic year 1436-1437 H. Since last Monday, it continues to receive applications for admission to the university colleges spread in Buraydah and all governorates and centers of the region through its website, and continues until noon on Wednesday, 14/9/1436 H.
The Deanship of Admission and Registration at the university has published detailed information and instructions about admission, its mechanisms, the method of application, the majors available for admission, the conditions to be met by male and female applicants, and the written tests required for some majors on the deanship's website.

For his part, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Prof. Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Saif, said that the university has expanded significantly in recent years, with the number of its colleges reaching 38 colleges with more than 150 majors for both sexes spread in all cities and governorates of the region.

Dr. Al-Saif revealed that the number of seats available for admission for the next academic year for both sexes is more than 16,000 seats as approved by the University Council, pointing out that there are a number of disciplines that witness high competition for admission, especially the preparatory year as the main entrance to the colleges "health, medical, engineering, architecture, planning and computer", as well as Sharia, physical education for students, psychology, kindergarten for female students, English language and Islamic studies are among the desired disciplines that witness great competition during admission.

Dr. Al-Saif stated that the number of male and female students at the university currently exceeds 60000 thousand without this year's graduates, whose number reached more than 8000 thousand male and female graduates, and it is expected that after the end of admission for the new year, the number will exceed 70,000 thousand male and female students

Dr. Al-Saif pointed out that the number of male and female applicants has so far reached 20,000 applications for admission, and the deanship will work to announce the results before the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, God willing.

The Dean of Admission and Registration extended his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the UQU President and the Vice President for Educational Affairs for their interest and follow-up of the university's admission process, pointing out that the university adopted this year the electronic admission 100% where there is no need to send official documents for male and female students, as the deanship relied on the "Yasir" service to bring data and then the "Accepted" service at the Ministry of Education to complete the stages of confirmation of admission, wishing success to all
