سعيا من  عمادة خدمة المجتمع لتحقيق التكامل المنهجي والفكري لخدمة المجتمع،أقامت عمادة خدمة المجتمع ممثلة بوحدة خدمة المجتمع دورة تدريبية بعنوان “نحو شراكة مجتمعية فاعلة للجامعة” والتي قدمها الخبير الدولي  الدكتور جمال ناصر الشطي مدير معهد كامز للتدربب في دولة الكويت. وقد حضر افتتاح الدورة سعادة وكيل الجامعة للشؤون التعليمية  الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد بن صالح الطامي حيث رحب بالحضور وبالدكتور جمال الشطي،بعد ذلك قدم سعادة الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد بن إبراهيم التركي كلمته الافتتاحية وقدم العرض المرئي عن خدمة المجتمع وعمل العمادة بالتنسيق مع الكليات المتفاعلة مع العمادة تجاه المجتمع. وقد حظيت الدورة بأقبال كبير من الحضور اذ بلغ عددهم من الرجال والنساء 89 متدرب ومتدربة من جامعة القصيم بجميع فروعها وجهات خارجية
