On Sunday, 7/4/1442 A.H., the University, represented by the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies, held a virtual meeting with the participation of the official spokesperson of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Dr. Samer Al-Jutaili, entitled "Humanity of a King" on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may Allah protect him - on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the pledge of allegiance of the King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
During the meeting, the speaker reviewed the humanitarian positions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who had white hands in many events and situations inside and outside the country, even before the establishment of the center, including: He also touched on the role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in supporting and sponsoring the Center, as well as the pioneering role of the Center during the Corona pandemic, and how it had an impact in alleviating the suffering of those affected worldwide, in addition to the fact that the Center has set rules of behavior, including not linking any assistance to a specific situation and not restricting it to discrimination and racism anywhere in the world.
Al-Jutaili said:" The center is able to serve donors and deliver their donations to their beneficiaries outside the Kingdom, such as building mosques and digging wells, as well as the center is interested in childhood projects and providing support and providing everything necessary for them, as the center implemented 57 volunteer campaigns last year alone, and the target for this year is 140 volunteer campaigns, in addition to the center's projects to care for people with prosthetic limbs and provide assistance to them, and the "Masam" demining project in Yemen, where 200,000 mines were removed in 20 months, noting that the center has a website that provides transparent information in a modern way about all the services it provides," he said.
