After opening the twelfth meeting of the Deans of Scientific Research at Saudi Universities.

The Vice President of Qassim University for Educational Affairs, Prof. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Tami, opened the twelfth meeting of the Deans of Scientific Research at universities and higher education institutions in the Kingdom under the title (research cooperation between Saudi universities) yesterday morning at the University Council Hall in the University City in the presence of the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Wasel, and the Deans of Scientific Research in Saudi universities.

Dr. Al-Tami opened the meeting with a speech in which he welcomed everyone to the university, stressing the importance of scientific research as one of the three main pillars of universities in addition to the academic educational aspect and community service, looking forward to recommendations that support the scientific research process and achieve the aspirations of the country, which hopes us to raise the level of scientific research to be a tributary of development, pointing out that scientific research is an economic arm of each university in addition to universities are research centers to serve society and improve it through research products in various fields.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Wasel also stressed that scientific research is the basis for the success of universities, pointing to some of the challenges and obstacles facing the scientific research process in Saudi universities, stressing the role of this meeting to come up with positive recommendations that will expand the circle of scientific research by drawing a map of the important arm that will activate the role of scientific research within universities.

After that, the two-day discussion sessions began, including working papers submitted by deans and deans of scientific research in Saudi universities, according to the Dean of Scientific Research at Qassim University, Dr. Yousef Al-Salim, who pointed out that the meeting will result in important recommendations that support the scientific research process in universities, God willing.
