10 Recommendations from the "Toward a Positive Society According to the Kingdom's Vision 2030" Conference

The scientific sessions held over two days as part of the conference "Towards a Positive Society according to the Kingdom's Vision 2030", which was organized by the university, represented by the Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Saawi Chair for the Development of Positivity, at the University City in Al-Malida under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud, Governor of Qassim, resulted in reaching several recommendations aimed at promoting the concept of positivity, moderation and citizenship values in the community. 
 
The recommendations of the conference, which was inaugurated by HRH Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of Qassim, on Monday, and ended its scientific sessions on Tuesday, 5/30/1440 AH, were as follows:
 
1. Stimulating research projects and postgraduate theses in the field of positive development and building practical measures of it according to research plans approved by specialists.
 
2. Building training programs to develop positivity at the individual, family and community levels and offering them to all segments of society.
 
3. Include positive education topics in the curricula of general education and university education.
 
4. Establishing cooperation partnerships between specialized educational institutions and governmental and private institutions to develop positivity, spread its culture and adopt its initiatives.
 
5. Calling for the submission of positive community initiatives and adopting the outstanding ones according to specific criteria and presenting them in special events.
 
6. Preparing a positive charter for the safe use of social media under the name of the Positive Charter for Social Media, publishing it and encouraging its implementation.
 
7. Activating the positive message of the media according to a strategic plan provided by specialists.
 
8. Adopting the positive student, positive employee and positive faculty member award project and preparing practical criteria and controls for it.
 
9. Activating the positive side of social media in a way that promotes Islamic values, loyalty and belonging to the homeland and establishes self-immunity against the negative side of social media. 
 
10. The need to activate organizational positivity, set standards for it, and apply it to educational institutions.
