The university is organizing "Intellectual Awareness Units Programs in Saudi Universities: Hopes and Challenges", with the participation of supervisors of intellectual awareness units in Saudi universities and representatives of the Ministry of Education and a number of government agencies, next Tuesday, 12/3/1440 AH, under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of Qassim University.
The event will be based on four main axes, where the first axis is the programs of intellectual awareness units in universities, the second axis is concerned with the programs of intellectual awareness units in universities, hopes and aspirations: Obstacles and Challenges, while the second axis is concerned with the programs of intellectual awareness units in universities, hopes and aspirations, in addition to the third axis, which deals with creative programs to promote the approach of moderation and moderation, and the fourth axis will discuss the role of awareness units' programs in confronting the discourse of violence "partisan movement discourse, and the discourse of pretextual violence: Rights slogans as an example".
For his part, the Supervisor of the Intellectual Awareness Unit at Qassim University, Dean of the College of Shari'ah, Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Abu Al-Khail, said that this forum comes as an attempt to identify the most prominent challenges facing those working in this intellectual field and how to overcome them, whether at the level of the institution or at the level of individuals, in addition to addressing the most prominent aspirations that want to reach, and trying to raise the ceiling of ambitions to achieve some of these hopes and aspirations.
Abu Al-Khail added that creating creative programs that promote the discourse of moderation and moderation is a very important axis, as this axis came to try to overcome the "traditionalism" that has unfortunately become the dominant feature of many of the works and programs presented in this field.
Abu Al-Khail also believes that the theme of confronting extremist and violent ideology is a precedent in this field, as it is rare for an academic program to address this theme, especially the discourse of violence.
