Maqasid al-Shari'ah

Course Description: The curriculum includes an introduction to the objectives of Sharia, related terminology, their divisions, their validity, and methods of uncovering them, as well as the relationship of objectives with creedal issues, Sharia evidence, and usuli and fiqhi principles, and how to derive rulings for new issues through their principles.

Objectives of the course :

Expanding students' understanding of the purposes of Sharia, their evidence, and the methods of their application to derive rulings and address new issues, and utilizing detection methods to identify the different types of Sharia objectives.

Course outputs :

Knowledge and understanding:
The student accurately and deeply understands the terminology, concepts, and divisions of the science of *Maqasid*.
2- It explains the knowledge and precise understanding of the ways of knowing intentions and their relationship with other sciences.
3- Describes knowledge related to the rules of objectives and their application in contemporary cases, which contributes to the process of jurisprudential deliberation.
