The department also seeks to empower students academically, scientifically, and ethically to practice the nursing profession efficiently.
Overview
The Department of Nursing Education is one of the important academic pillars of the college, as it is concerned with providing advanced academic programs that contribute to the preparation of highly qualified female students through an interactive learning environment that employs the latest methods and technologies. The department includes a group of experienced academics and is keen to strengthen the link between theoretical and practical aspects, in addition to its support for research activities and joint cooperation with health authorities, which enhances the quality of education and prepares female graduates to contribute effectively to improving health care.
Objectives :
- Enable students to understand and apply teaching and assessment skills in nursing education.
- Develop, implement, and monitor accreditation standards to keep pace with shifts in healthcare, by examining leadership and management best practices.
- Developing leadership and management skills to improve the quality of nursing and health services in the Kingdom.
- Linking nursing science to real-life health issues to promote the practical application of knowledge.
- Foster collaboration with health teams to work in diverse health environments and organizations.

The Department of Nursing Education actively contributes to teaching a set of basic courses within the bachelor's program, especially courses related to the foundations of nursing education, communication skills, professional practice, and leadership in nursing. The department also works to develop students' skills in preparing educational materials and providing educational workshops on various health topics aimed at various community groups, thus enhancing their competence in the field of health education and preparing them to respond effectively to the needs of changing health environments.
