Overview
The Vice Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research is one of the strategic pillars of Qassim University, and plays a pivotal role in strengthening the scientific research system and developing postgraduate studies in line with the university's vision and mission in national leadership and sustainable development. The Vice Presidency oversees the management and coordination of postgraduate studies and scientific research activities, and its associated deanships, departments, centers and units, and aims to provide infrastructure and administrative and financial support that stimulate innovation and creativity for faculty members, researchers and students, to enable researchers to achieve distinguished scientific outputs and strengthen partnerships

Objectives
1- Directing postgraduate programs and research projects to achieve the contents of the university's institutional identity.
2- Developing graduate programs.
3- Developing the operations of the Deanship of Scientific Research in order to increase the research productivity of the university staff and achieve impact from this productivity.
4- Developing the procedures of the Scientific Council in order to rationalize forms, streamline procedures, and improve the experience of beneficiaries.
5- Developing scholarship procedures to improve the administrative and scientific relationship between the scholars and the university.
6- Strengthening the procedures of the scientific journal according to the standards of international databases and classifications.
7- Improving the performance of central laboratories in accordance with local and international best practices, to ensure easy access for beneficiaries.
8. Optimizing research centers, farms, and sheds to ensure the productivity of scientific research and contribute to serving the campus and the external community.
9. Fostering a culture of innovation.
10- Improving the university's research reputation locally, regionally, and internationally.
11- Developing the system of scientific chairs by creating a pioneering and innovative strategy that ensures their effective management.
