Believing that Qassim University and its effective role in achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 and the university mission of seeking to develop, support and transfer knowledge through effective management of education and In order to activate the role of the university in serving international students in implementation of the directives of the rulers to pay attention to scholarships for non-Saudis, their care and follow-up after their graduation, and pursuant to Cabinet Resolution No. (94) issued on 29/3/1431 AH to issue "Regulations for the acceptance and care of scholarship students for non-Saudis in educational institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia"; His Excellency the Rector directed the establishment of the "General Department for International Student Affairs" as an independent department with its own powers to deal with everything related to the affairs of international students and contribute to achieving psychological and academic stability for them.
