Overview
The General Administration of Facilities and Housing is one of the main departments at Al-Qassim University, and is organizationally linked to the University Vice Presidency for Financial and Technical Affairs, where it is responsible for managing and developing the university's facilities and properties, supporting the academic and administrative process and enhancing operational efficiency. The work of the department is in line with the strategic plan of Qassim University (2020-2025) and in line with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030. Within the framework of developing the work system, the Housing Department was included within the General Administration of Facilities, with the aim of achieving integration in asset management, increasing spending efficiency, and ensuring optimal utilization of facilities, which contributes to improving the university work environment and the sustainability of its resources. As a result, the department's responsibilities have expanded to include supervising the university's facilities at the headquarters and its branches. The General Administration of Facilities and Housing works to enhance the safety of facilities and create a safe university environment by adhering to regulatory requirements, applying preventive measures, and managing potential risks in coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure business continuity and preserve lives and property.
