An Overview
The establishment of the General Administration of Legal Affairs coincided with the establishment of the university in 1424 A.H. It is subordinate in its structure to His Excellency the President of the University, and includes a group of specialists in Sharia and law to work to accomplish the tasks entrusted to it, including: Providing legal advice to all entities in the university, representing the university before judicial authorities at all levels in cases to which the university is a party, verifying the integrity of decisions producing legal effects and the extent of adherence to legality and protection, reviewing and drafting draft regulations, contracts and agreements to which the university is a party, investigating violations, and other tasks assigned to it

Contributing to the application of regulations by all university departments when exercising their powers and performing their work, minimizing legal risks and achieving the required quality standards for legal work
