University organizes a number of courses as part of Qassim Summer 38

The university held a number of specialized training courses in many fields for the visitors of the first university summer club at the headquarters of the Deanship of Community Service as part of its participation in the activities of Qassim Summer 38 "Fun and Knowledge".

The first course organized by the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Deanship of Community Service, was titled "How to Read", during which Dr. Khalid Al-Seif presented the types of reading, the basics of choosing books, and the role of reading in expanding the reader's knowledge and raising the level of his culture. 

The second course was dedicated to the members of the voluntary scout team and the members of the Rangers participating in the Hajj this year. The third course was held over three days, presented by Mr. Talal Al-Samani, and dealt with computer networks, the basics of networking, types of servers, establishing new networks and maintaining old ones.

The fourth course was entitled "Skills of Using Word and PowerPoint", presented by Mr. Abdullah Al-Qaffari, and lasted for eight days, during which he explained the tools and shortcuts of the two programs, the proper ways to use them, as well as the methods of designing projects through them.

The fifth course was held over four days, on the maintenance of mobile phones and smart devices, presented by Mr. Talal Al-Samani, during which he explained the proper ways to maintain mobile phones and smart devices, gave a scientific explanation of the internal parts of the devices and parts, and presented ways to identify the damaged part of the device, and how to maintain and replace it. 

The last course was on "Montage", presented by Mr. Yousef Al-Fayez, who presented specialized editing programs, highlighting the differences between them and their characteristics, in addition to the types of work on each program and ways to save and archive projects in the appropriate formats.
