His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, witnessed\u2014in the presence of His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region, at his office in the Governorate headquarters\u2014the signing of a cooperation agreement between the University and the Reef Saudi Academy at the Qassim Region Governorate headquarters, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, and the General Manager of the Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Qassim, Engineer Salman bin Jarallah Al-Suwaineh.
His Highness the Emir of the Region blessed the signing of the agreement, praising its cooperation areas that contribute to human capacity development, qualifying national cadres in the agricultural and rural sectors, and enhancing the role of educational and training institutions in supporting development targets. He emphasized the importance of unifying efforts and utilizing available expertise and capabilities to serve the agricultural sector and support development pathways.<\/p>
The university was represented in signing the agreement by the Vice President for Business Development and Community Partnership, Dr. Majid bin Fadi Al-Anzi, while the Saudi Reef Academy was represented by its CEO, Dr. Maha bint Mohammed Al-Dahi.<\/p>
The agreement aims to support the implementation of the strategic plan of the Saudi Reef Academy in developing human capacities in the agricultural sector, developing and qualifying national cadres in the fields of agriculture, livestock, veterinary medicine, and food industries, in addition to enhancing integration between academic education and applied training.<\/p>
Areas of cooperation also include supporting applied research and innovation related to rural development needs, contributing to the localization of modern technologies, and transferring knowledge and expertise in related fields, thereby enhancing the readiness of national cadres and supporting agricultural and rural development targets.<\/p><\/p>
