His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharaikh, received the Deans of Student Affairs from Saudi universities, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fahad bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad. This took place during the opening of the 27th meeting of the Committee of Deans of Student Affairs at Saudi Universities, which is being hosted by the university at the King Abdulaziz Center for Conferences in the university city.
During the meeting, the university president praised the integrated efforts aimed at developing students' capabilities and strengthening the university's activity system in line with Saudi Vision 2030, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between universities in supporting student initiatives and successful experiences.<\/p>
The meeting, chaired by the Dean of Student Affairs at Qassim University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ajlan, and attended by 25 deans representing Saudi universities, reviewed a set of developmental topics, experiences, and successful student initiatives aimed at developing students' capabilities and building their cognitive, professional, and social skills, contributing to the preparation of national cadres capable of competition and innovation. The meeting also discussed ways to enhance the sustainability of competencies in the Deanships of Student Affairs and support national initiatives to develop university student work.<\/p>
This comes as part of universities' role in preparing qualified national cadres who are globally competitive, by enabling students with future skills, promoting national values and belonging, and developing a university environment that stimulates creativity and community participation, in support of the objectives of the Human Capabilities Development Program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030.<\/p><\/p>
