Dr. Al-Omar: The King's confidence is an honor, and the university will continue its qualitative leaps.<\/p>

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques issued a decree appointing Professor Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Omr as the Vice President of Qassim University, succeeding Professor Dr. Abdulmonem bin Ibrahim Al-Abdulmonem.<\/p>
On this occasion, Dr. Al-Omr expressed his pride in the royal trust, emphasizing that it is an honor that will push him to exert more effort to contribute with his colleagues, the vice presidents, under the university president\u2019s leadership, to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership in providing university education that keeps pace with the Kingdom\u2019s development and contributes to building the nation\u2019s people. He prayed to God Almighty to help him, grant him success, and guide his steps in undertaking this responsibility entrusted to him by the authorities. He concluded by appreciating the trust of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and His Excellency the President of Qassim University, hoping to live up to their expectations.<\/p>
It is noted that Dr. Ibrahim Al-Omer obtained his PhD in Economics from Kansas State University, USA, in 1423 AH\/2002, with a specialization in Money, Banking, and Development.<\/p>
He obtained a Master's degree in Islamic Economics from Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, in 1412 AH.<\/p>
As for the Bachelor's degree, it was also in Economics from the College of Sharia at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, Qassim, 1406 AH.<\/p>
Dr. Alomer is an active member of a number of research centers, such as the University's Center for Sustainable Development, and a member of the Investment Development Committee in Al-Qassim, in addition to being a visiting professor at Kansas State University, USA, 1433-1434 AH.<\/p>
Dr. Al-Omr has a distinguished administrative and academic record, which began with him as a lecturer until he assumed the position of Dean of the College of Economics and Management from 1428 AH to 1433 AH, in addition to his supervision of the College of Business in Buraidah from 1430 AH to 1433 AH.<\/p>
Dr. Al-Omer has deep research efforts and publications in critical theory, banking, growth and development, Islamic economics, macroeconomic analysis, Islamic finance, and the jurisprudence of transactions.<\/p><\/p>
