His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, inaugurated the seventh scientific forum for male and female dental students organized by the College of Dentistry at Qassim University at the M\u00f6venpick Hotel in Buraydah amid the participation of 18 colleges from inside and outside the Kingdom in addition to a number of speakers from international universities.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
In an impromptu speech, His Excellency praised the efforts of the Dean and students of the College of Dentistry, pointing out that he witnessed and touched the brilliance of the college in organizing this scientific forum since its launch seven years ago, stressing that the presence of media speakers enriches this forum and contributes to achieving its objectives.<\/span><\/div>\n
His Excellency also praised the voluntary dental caravans program that toured 10 internal and external stations as part of the university's mission to serve the community and provided medical services to thousands of patients, praising the students for their excellence and brilliance in organizing this forum.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
The Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad Al-Muhaimid, also extended his thanks and appreciation to the male and female students for their efforts in establishing and organizing this meaningful scientific forum.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
Mr. Abdulmajeed Al-Jabr, the president of the forum, pointed out that the forum includes several main events, the most important of which is hosting four prominent professors in the center of dentistry from the United States of America as main speakers in the forum, in addition to workshops in several scientific and social specialties and accompanying exhibitions such as exhibitions of medical companies, scientific libraries, student clubs, interactive magazines and an exhibition of scientific posters in which students from various dental colleges participate, as the number of participating universities is estimated at 17 universities inside the Kingdom and one from outside the Kingdom, explaining that the number of research contributions submitted exceeded the 70 m<\/span><\/div>\n
Sixty-two of them were approved after being evaluated by a scientific committee<\/span><\/div>\n
made up of specialized professors.<\/span><\/div>\n
It is noteworthy that the scientific forum in its seventh annual session is organized by male and female dental students at Qassim University, headed by Abdulmajeed Al-Jabr, a fifth-year student, and extends the work among fifteen committees divided among the college students from different academic years, and aims to acquire the students of dentistry at Qassim University.<\/span><\/div>\n
It also aims to enhance the scientific level, research and creative values, and enrich the student academic scene by showcasing and publishing the scientific and creative products of male and female students.<\/span><\/div>\n
Promoting the values of honest scientific competition and building bridges of scientific communication among dental students by hosting university delegations from inside and outside the Kingdom.<\/span><\/div>\n
