Twenty teaching assistants have been nominated in several colleges, including: the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, the College of Education, the College of Economics and Management, the College of Business Administration in Buraidah, the College of Pharmacy, the College of Pharmacy in Unaizah, the College of Applied Health Sciences in Buraidah, the College of Dentistry, the College of Dentistry in Buraidah, and the College of Public Health and Health Informatics in Al Bukayriyah.

The agency urged all candidates to promptly visit the Deanship of Faculty and Staff Affairs in the University Administration Building on the fourth floor. This step stems from the university's keenness to develop its staff in various scientific, literary, and Sharia disciplines and to select the most suitable individuals for the university's students, as efforts are being made to serve them and provide them with all appropriate resources.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Turki, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies, confirmed that the university has developed a strategic plan, according to a well-studied long-term mechanism, for appointing teaching assistants in various specializations at the university. This mechanism relies on actual need and the priorities imposed by the nature of the specialization, pointing out that the university is determined to continue appointing teaching assistants in the coming years to meet the university's need for qualified national competencies.

"Al-Turki" added that the university announced at the beginning of the academic year its need for a number of teaching assistant positions in various specializations, and applications were opened to fill these positions. Then, specialized committees sorted the applications that met the application requirements and forwarded them to the concerned faculties to conduct tests and interviews. The faculties then nominated the qualified candidates to the Permanent Committee for Teaching Assistants and Lecturers, and the committee selected those who obtained the highest grades according to the standards approved by the university council for selecting new teaching assistants.

Al-Turki pointed out that the criteria for accepting job applications depend on the university degree grade, the qualification test score for university graduates, in addition to the specialized written test and personal interviews. He explained that specialized central committees have been formed to conduct the tests and interviews according to the most precise standards and the highest degree of transparency, stressing that the teaching assistant position must be considered a temporary stage for obtaining Master's and Doctoral degrees, and then appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor in various departments.

Al-Turki emphasized that all candidates applying for a teaching assistant position should hasten to obtain their Master's and PhD degrees, rather than procrastinate in starting their studies. He pointed out the university's determination to follow up on those holding teaching assistant or lecturer positions who have not yet begun their studies, noting that those who delay their studies will be dealt with according to regulations and by-laws within a specified period.

[9
447

117
["post-15012","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-null","sdgs-sdg17
["GET
