Seven entities from within and outside the university participated. This exhibition is part of the university's participation in the \u00abYour Life is More Important\u00bb campaign, which is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, and will continue for two weeks. The campaign aims to enhance traffic safety culture among all segments of society in all cities, centers, and governorates of the region.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The Saudi Red Crescent authority participated in the exhibition through a booth that showcased its field medical affairs, training, and volunteer departments, in addition to recruiting volunteers to serve the community. The aim was health education and encouraging citizens to benefit from training and educational programs, in addition to distributing brochures, publications, and gifts to visitors.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The Qassim Health Cluster also participated with a booth providing explanations on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), how to stop bleeding, how to handle fractures resulting from traffic accidents, and how to care for traffic accident victims until the ambulance arrives. Several specialists participated in this. Additionally, the Qassim Traffic Department participated with a booth offering a comprehensive explanation of the campaign, its objectives, and the \"Ideal Driver\" award, aiming to promote a culture of adherence to traffic regulations. Educational brochures were also distributed to visitors.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The Directorate of Education in Qassim, for its part, participated and included a number of competitions with valuable prizes, through 4 tracks: the awareness aspect through an awareness video about the danger of using a mobile phone while driving, the best application that ensures the driver's safety while driving so that they do not use their mobile phone while driving, in addition to the best slogan for the campaign, and the best drawing about the importance of raising awareness about not using a mobile phone while driving. The competition was circulated to all boys' and girls' schools through conditions and prizes, in addition to allocating 21 locations to hold awareness lectures for secondary school students.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>For its part, the University Security Department participated with a booth at the exhibition to introduce the tasks of university security in organizing parking and traffic flow within the university city and at its entrances, to facilitate the movement of students and employees, and to issue citations to violators according to the traffic system followed in the Kingdom, as well as assisting damaged or stuck vehicles and responding to accidents within the university campus and transferring them to the competent authority.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The College of Engineering, at its exhibition booth, showcased a number of student projects, in addition to explaining the meanings of traffic signals and a collection of student entries in the field.
