A number of students from the university's College of Computing succeeded in obtaining an advanced position within the top 50 projects out of 1000 projects in the Homathon challenge competition, sponsored by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones. The competition aims to promote innovative solutions to confront the current conditions of the Corona pandemic in 8 main fields.

Students from the College of Computer Science participated in the competition: Asem Al-Tuwaijri, Abdullah Al-Khalifi, Suhail Al-Ghutaimyl, Abdulaziz Al-Jumaili, and Ibrahim Al-Aidhan. They presented the \"Queue Project,\" which centers on the idea of creating an electronic application that spares store customers long waiting times for their purchases. The project allows for goods to be prepared in advance, enabling stores to organize customer arrivals systematically and avoid lengthy waits.<\/p><\/p>
