The university, represented by the College of Computing, achieved several advanced positions in the final list of the best ideas submitted in the \"Absher Challenge,\" which concluded last Saturday, February 23, 1442 AH. The initiative's supervisory committee announced the names of the winners the day before yesterday, Sunday, under the patronage of the Ministry of Interior and with the participation of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, the National Information Center, and Elm Company. The college's female students participated by presenting their ideas among 7921 ideas, in the track of developing \"existing services\" through unified medical records, and the track of \"new services\" in adapting technology for the blind.
Student Noura bint Abdulaziz Al-Rabdi secured fifth place on the final list for the Absher Challenge in the track for improving existing services with her project idea, \"Unified Medical Records - Medichen,\" chosen from 10 development ideas. Meanwhile, student Warood bint Obaid Al-Rashidi and student Reem bint Khalid Al-Rabdi also achieved fifth place in the final list for the Absher Challenge in the track for developing new services with their project idea, \"Adapting Technology for the Blind,\" which included 10 development ideas. <\/p>
The \"Absher Challenge\" aims to encourage innovators and creators to participate in developing the ministry's electronic works and services through the Absher platform, by enriching the culture of creativity and innovation to reach advanced positions in the e-government index and in pursuit of achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.<\/p><\/p>
