His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Daoud, President of the University, inspected the preparations of the Coronavirus Vaccination Center at the University Hospital in the Medical City, accompanied by His Excellency the Vice President Dr. Mohammed Al-Saawi, the Executive Director Dr. Khaled Al-Hussais, and members of the Medical City Council.
His Excellency the minister reviewed the center's equipment and preparations, which will begin administering the first vaccine against the virus as soon as the necessary equipment is fully installed. Priority for receiving the vaccine will be given to health practitioners, followed by university staff and their families, then male and female students, and various segments of society based on health criteria determined by the Ministry of Health.<\/p>
During his tour, \u201cAl-Dawood\u201d praised the contents and equipment of the university hospital and its great potential, which allowed for the rapid establishment of this center for vaccination against coronavirus, to serve the people of the Qassim region in cooperation with the Ministry of Health in providing multiple vaccination centers, to contribute to sparing our dear homeland the repercussions of this pandemic.<\/p>
And His Excellency and the accompanying delegation toured the city's medical departments and administrative offices that have been moved, which are: the office of the Executive Director General, the office of the Medical Advisor and medical departments, the Physical Therapy department, as well as the Operations and Maintenance department, the Medical Equipment and Supplies department, in addition to the Support Medical Services department, the Financial and Administrative Affairs department, the Support Services department, and the Information Technology department.<\/p>
Al-Dawood expressed his thanks and appreciation to the CEO and all staff of the Medical City for their distinguished efforts, affirming: \u201cWe want this Medical City to be distinguished not only at the regional level, but at the level of the Kingdom and the world,\u201d asking God for everyone's success and guidance.<\/p><\/p>
