The conference was organized by the university, represented by the College of Science and Arts in Al-Rass, under the patronage of His Excellency the University President, Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood. The conference lasted for two days, during which 3 scientific sessions and 4 workshops were held, in addition to the opening and closing sessions. A total of 108 participants took part, with an overall attendance of 2715 people.<p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The conference sessions resulted in a number of recommendations (30 recommendations) put forth by the participants and researchers at the conference. These recommendations covered all the conference themes discussed during its sessions. Among the most prominent is commitment to the Saudi Vision 2030 as a reference in education. It also emphasized the necessity of benefiting from successful international and regional experiences. In addition, it urged universities to diversify their electronic platforms, stressing the importance of utilizing modern software in education. Furthermore, it highlighted the need to equip faculty members with skills in designing e-courses to save effort and time, thereby overcoming traditional teaching methods.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The recommendations also highlighted the importance of forging partnerships between Saudi universities and e-learning platforms to support university e-training programs, and urged relevant authorities to design more modern applications that ensure direct interaction between teachers and learners to facilitate remote education. This includes preparing schools to use educational innovations like ART to improve the skills of instructors and recipients, especially those with learning difficulties in various subjects, and developing classrooms to meet the needs of students with special needs.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>Attendees and participants praised the remarkable and rapid transition from traditional education to e-learning in Saudi Arabia without significant difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic. This indicates the strength and robustness of Saudi Arabia's infrastructure. The conference came a full year after the commencement of e-learning in the Kingdom.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The participants expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him, and His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince \u2013 may God protect them. They also extended their thanks to His Highness the Governor of Al-Qassim Region and his deputy. The participants and organizers also thanked His Excellency the Minister of Education for his support and facilitation of the conference. The participants also extended special thanks to His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawoud, for his patronage of the conference, which was hosted by the College of Science and Arts in Ar Rass. The conference organizing committee, headed by Dr. Ali bin Fraih Al-Aqla, expressed their sincere gratitude to the researchers for their contributions, which were a significant factor in the success of this conference.
